The second episode of the Novel Hand podcast is live! This week we’re talking to Vanderbilt alumna Connie Tsai of Nisolo about ethical fashion. Nisolo is an ethically sourced and environmentally conscious shoe company based in Nashville, TN.
Nisolo recently launched the Lowest Wage Challenge with ABLE, an ethical fashion brand that employs and empowers women. Through the Lowest Wage Challenge, these two companies published the lowest wages in their supply chain and committed to raise their lowest wages to a living wage. They’re also encouraging other brands to do the same. Connie shared some awesome news about the response to the Lowest Wage Challenge so far in this episode, and it was a privilege to get to hear about her passion for this movement.
If you’re in the Nashville area, be sure to check out Nisolo’s warehouse sale this Saturday and Sunday. Follow @nisoloshowroom on Instagram to learn more!
We want to thank Connie for taking time to talk with us about her passion for ethical fashion and how it’s become a part of her personal and professional life.
