On this week’s episode of the Novel Hand Podcast, I interviewed Stephanie Turrentine. We discussed community buy-in, the Peace Corps, and legal advocacy.
Stephanie served as a Peace Corps member from 2019-2020, and currently works at Lawyers for Equal Justice in Hawaii. As a legal advocate, Stephanie assists lawyers with impact litigation– cases that have the potential to have a larger impact beyond a single case.
Stephanie has experience in food security, education, and legal advocacy in three very different areas, so it was really interesting to hear about how her experiences have differed from one another and what she’s learned from each place that she’s worked.
Read about how Hawaiian tourism is an equity issue.
