Alexa here! I took some time to reflect on the past year at Novel Hand, and it’s been quite the year. From nearly two dozen interns to 207 articles, our team has been busy.
Here’s what 2021 looked like at Novel Hand!
Expanding the breadth and depth of our writing
Of the over 200 articles that our team wrote this year, a few really stood out.
Our launch of Alexa in ATX received a lot of attention, as did our article on the World Day of Social Justice and on how to celebrate Juneteenth.
Launching our newest endeavor, Impactfull
Perhaps the most exciting thing that we did this year at Novel Hand was to launch our platform dedicated to learning and impact, Impactfull!
Through Impactfull, users learn about a new topic each month through articles and podcast episodes. Then, our team curates impact opportunities for users based on how much time they have– from one minute to long-term lifestyle changes.
We’ll also be making some important updates to Impactfull this spring–stay tuned for details!
Connecting over podcasts: Activism, Meet Impact
It was another great year for our podcast. Our interns recorded dozens of short Handful episodes based on articles they wrote.
And our full-length episodes were nothing short of amazing. We spoke with visionaries like Gret of DonorSee and Alex of EcoRate. We also enjoyed pairing podcast episodes with Impactfull topics– check out the podcast episodes that we recorded about chocolate and climate refugees!
