Elina

My name is Elina Carpen and I am excited to join the Novel Hand team as a writing and research intern this fall! I am currently a junior at UNC Chapel Hill double majoring in Political Science and History with a minor in Sustainability Studies. During my time at Novel Hand, I hope to focus on environmental justice and sustainability, as well as immigration and international relations. I am looking forward to educating myself and others on how these topics coincide with social justice and what steps we can take to make an impact. When I'm not studying you can find me on a run, hike, or at a bookstore.
